Figure 4B-39 shown on Page 4B-16 and step 10 shown on Page 4B17 of the 1985 Corvette Shop Manual (ST-364-85) have been revised as indicated below. Fig. replaces Figure 4B-39 presently shown in the Shop Manual.
10. Position the cross pin shaft in the case and drivit in with a hammer. Be sure the retaining pin hole of the cross pin shaft is properly aligned to allow installation of the retaining pin. Install the retaining pin to the proper depth using a punch and stake in place at both ends of the case.
