* THIS SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE HAS BEEN REVISED TO INCLUDE THE 1988 SERVICE MANUAL AND TO CORRECT THE BELT TENSION SPECIFICATION.

To check belt tension, install Tension Gauge J 23600-B between the generator and air pump. The belt tension specification is 267-400 N. (60 -90 lbs.).
