SUBJECT: SMU - SECTION 3E AND 8A-48, LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM - CODE 99

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991-92 "Y" CAR CHEVROLET CORVETTE

The Chart in Section 3E Page 14 of the 1991 "Y" Carline Service Manual should be substituted with the enclosed Code 99 Receiver Control Module Diagnosis Chart. In addition, the troubleshooting hints found in Section 8A-48 in the 1991 and 1992 "Y" Carline Service Manuals should be disregarded. Refer to Section 3E for all Low Tire Pressure Warning System (LTPWS) diagnosis.
