TWO SIR COIL ASSEMBLIES ARE AVAILABLE FROM GMSPO WHEN A REPLACEMENT COIL ASSEMBLY IS ORDERED. ONE IS DESIGNED TO BE ROTATED CLOCKWISE, THE OTHER COUNTERCLOCKWISE, WHEN CENTERING THE COIL BEFORE INSTALLATION. THE ATTACHED REPLACEMENT FIGURE 12 REFLECTS THE PROCEDURE FOR BOTH TYPES OF SIR COIL ASSEMBLY; ONLY ONE TYPE IS CURRENTLY SHOWN IN THE 1991 "Y" SERVICE MANUAL.
