Subject: AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR HOSE, O-RINGS AND SEAL WASHER USAGE

Model and Year: 1992 CORVETTE

The compressor hose and seal washers procedure found in Section "1B" page 31 of the 1992 "Y" Carline Service Manual should note that only Engine Code P used seal washers between the A/C compressor hose and the A/C compressor. Engine Code J will still utilize 0-ring seals between the A/C compressor hose and the A/C compressor. Please make note of this change for future reference.
