Notice: When adding coolant, use DEX-COOL® coolant. If silicated coolant is added to the system, premature engine, heater core or radiator corrosion may result. In addition, the engine coolant will require change sooner-at 50 000 km (30,000 mi) or 24 months.




1. Remove the upper radiator support. Refer to Section 10A.
2. Drain the coolant from the radiator. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .



3. Remove the radiator upper and lower hose clamps and hoses.



4. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler outlet and inlet pipes (Automatic transmission only).
5. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.

1. Install the radiator.



2. Install the radiator inlet and outlet hoses and clamps.



3. Install the transmission oil cooler outlet and inlet pipes (Automatic transmission only).



4. Install the radiator upper support. Refer to Section 10A.
5. Refill the radiator to the proper coolant level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
6. Start the engine. Check for coolant leaks.
