Removal Procedure
Use any of the following methods in order to remove the muffler:
| • | Service the muffler during exhaust system replacement. Refer to General Exhaust System Replacement . |
| Important: Do not cut off the old muffler until you have a new one on which to locate the cut point. When cutting the pipe, leave 50 mm (1.97 in) overlap into the new muffler. |
| • | Cut the rear exhaust pipes of the exhaust resonator at the mufflers. Allow for proper overlap. |
Installation Procedure
Service the muffler during exhaust system replacement. Refer to General Exhaust System Replacement .
