Removal Procedure

Use any of the following methods in order to remove the muffler:

•	Service the muffler during exhaust system replacement. Refer to General Exhaust System Replacement .

Important: Do not cut off the old muffler until you have a new one on which to locate the cut point. When cutting the pipe, leave 50 mm (1.97 in) overlap into the new muffler.

•	Cut the rear exhaust pipes of the exhaust resonator at the mufflers. Allow for proper overlap.

Installation Procedure

Service the muffler during exhaust system replacement. Refer to General Exhaust System Replacement .
