Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 13923  Size: SH
  1. Remove the fluid level indicator.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Section 0A.
  3. Support the vehicle with safety stands.

  4. Object Number: 32236  Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolt retaining the fill tube to the transmission.
  6. Loosen the tube from the transmission.
  7. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Object Number: 13927  Size: SH
  9. Pull the tube out of the vehicle from the top.

  10. Object Number: 13362  Size: SH
  11. Remove the fill tube seal.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 13362  Size: SH
  1. Install the seal.

  2. Object Number: 13927  Size: SH
  3. Install the fill tube.
  4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Section 0A.
  5. Support the vehicle with safety stands.
  6. Locate the fill tube onto the transmission.

  7. Object Number: 32236  Size: SH
  8. Install the fill tube bolt to the transmission.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  10. Lower the vehicle.

  12. Install the fluid level indicator.
  13. Check the fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
