Radiator Filler Cap Pressure Testing Procedure
Tools Required
| • | J 24460-01 Cooling System Tester |
| • | J 24460-92 Surge Tank Test Adapter |
- Clean the cap.
- UseJ 24460-01 and J 24460-92 in order to test the cap.
- Slowly pump J 24460-01 in order to obtain the minimum holding pressure. If the cap fails to hold 103 kPa (15 psi) of pressure, replace the cap.
