  1. Release the parking brake.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON (engine OFF).

Brake warning indicator remains OFF.
    • Brake Warning Indicator Is Always ON.
    • Brake Warning Indicator Inoperative While Brake Fluid Level Low.

  1. Turn the Ignition Switch to START then back to ON (allow engine to idle).
  2. Turn ignition switch to the OFF position.

Brake Warning Indicator remains OFF when ignition switch is in ON or START positions.
    • Brake Warning Indicator Is Always ON.
    • Brake Warning Indicator Inoperative While Brake Fluid Level Low.

  1. Return the ignition switch back to ON.
  2. Set the parking brake.
  3. Release the parking brake.

Brake Warning Indicator remains ON only when parking brake is set.
    • Brake Warning Indicator Is Always ON.
    • Park Brake will not Activate the Brake Warning Indicator.
