Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. Refer to

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  2. Object Number: 82160  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the outside air temperature sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the push-in retainer securing the sensor to the upper right side radiator support.
  5. Remove the sensor from the radiator support.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 82160  Size: SH
  1. Install the sensor into the upper right side radiator support.
  2. The sensor must point inboard.

  3. Secure the sensor to the radiator support with a push-in retainer.
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to
