Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  2. Object Number: 82164  Size: SH
  3. Remove the defroster grille from the upper instrument panel pad.
  4. Disconnect the sun load sensor wiring from the instrument panel wiring harness.
  5. Remove the sun load sensor and sensor wiring from the defroster grille by rotating the sensor.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sun load sensor and sensor wiring into the defroster grille by rotating the sensor.

  2. Object Number: 186412  Size: SH
  3. Install the sun load sensor wiring to instrument panel wiring harness.
  4. Install the defroster grille onto the upper instrument panel pad.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to
