The system also uses two bi-directional DC temperature door (valve) motors. The motors operate on the signals from the A/C control head that result from the in-vehicle and outside air temperature sensors and the set temperature. As the motors turn, they move the temperature valves in the HVAC module to obtain the correct blend of heated air from the heater and cooled air from the A/C evaporator.
