1. Disconnect the inside air temperature sensor connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Press the AUTO mode button on the HVAC programmer module.
4. Use a DMM to measure the voltage between terminal A of the inside air temperature sensor connector and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

4.5 - 5.5V

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 734.

Is the repair complete?

Use a DMM to measure the voltage between terminal A and terminal B of the inside air temperature sensor connector.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 1798 between the inside air temperature sensor connector and S203.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Replace the inside air temperature sensor. Refer to Inside Air Temperature Sensor in Automatic Air Conditioning.

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 6

1. Press the A/C mode button on the HVAC programmer module. OR
2. Use a scan tool to clear the DTCs from memory.

Are the DTCs cleared from memory?

--

Recheck the System Operation.
