1	Disconnect the ambient outside temperature sensor connector. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position. Press the AUTO mode button on the HVAC programmer module. Use a DMM to measure the voltage between terminal A of the ambient outside temperature sensor connector and ground. Is the voltage within the specified range?	4.5V to 5.5V	Go to Step 3	Go to Step 2
2	Locate and repair a short to ground in CKT 735. Is the repair complete?	--	Go to Step 4	--
3	Replace the ambient outside temperature sensor. Refer to Ambient Outside Temperature Sensor in Automatic Air Conditioning. Is the replacement complete?	--	Go to Step 4	--
4	Press the A/C mode button on the HVAC programmer module. OR Use a Scan Tool to clear DTCs from memory. Are the DTCs cleared from memory?	--	Recheck the System Operation (Information not available at the time of printing)	--
