Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 63701  Size: SH
  1. Remove the fascia close out panel.

  2. Object Number: 63693  Size: SH
  3. Remove the fascia to skid bar bolts.

  4. Object Number: 63704  Size: SH
  5. Reposition the bottom of the fascia outward and up.
  6. Slide the cooling duct rearward off the fascia opening.
  7. Remove the brake caliper cooling duct from the wheelhouse panel.
  8. 5.1. Rotate the duct.
    5.2. Align the duct locking tabs with the slots in the wheelhouse panel.
    5.3. Pull the duct forward out of the wheelhouse panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 63704  Size: SH
  1. Insert the brake caliper cooling duct into the opening in the wheelhouse.
  2. Rotate the duct to lock in place.
  3. Reposition the fascia forward and up to gain clearance.
  4. Position the duct over the opening in the fascia.

  5. Object Number: 63693  Size: SH
  6. Install the fascia to skid bar bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the fascia to skid bar bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.


    Object Number: 63701  Size: SH
  8. Install the fascia close out panel.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the close out panel bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
