Voltage is supplied to the vanity mirror lamps from CKT 640. CKT 640 receives battery voltage when the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 has closed its contact switch. The opening and closing of the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 is controlled by the BCM through CKT 1393. The BCM will ground CKT 1393 under normal operating conditions and energize the relay which in turns energizes CKT 640. Battery voltage is then supplied to the vanity mirror lamps and they becomes functional. The BCM will monitor CKT 640 at the BCM connector C2 terminal C4 for an inadvertent load. In the event that the a vanity mirror lamp is inadvertently left ON, the BCM will remove the ground from CKT 1393 de-energizing the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 and removing battery voltage from CKT 640. This function is used to help prevent the battery from losing voltage over a period of time in the case of a load being left ON. The vanity mirror lamps are grounded by CKT 150 through Splice Pack #202 to G202.
Voltage is supplied to the inside rearview mirror lamps from CKT 640. CKT 640 receives battery voltage when the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 has closed its contact switch. Voltage is supplied to the Underhood Lamp from CKT 640. CKT 640 receives battery voltage when the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 has closed its contact switch. The opening and closing of the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 is controlled by the BCM through CKT 1393. The I/P courtesy lamps are used within the courtesy lamp feature. The BCM activates the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42 by grounding CKT 690. Battery voltage is then supplied from the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42, through CKT 740 to both of the I/P courtesy lamps. When the BCM experiences a courtesy lamp request, it activates the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 in the instrument panel electrical center by applying a ground to CKT 690. This causes battery voltage to be applied to CKT 740 and to the I/P courtesy lamps. The I/P courtesy lamps will then illuminate. The I/P courtesy lamps are grounded by CKT 150 through Splice Pack #202, #201 to G201, G202.
The inside rearview mirror lamps are also used within the courtesy lamp feature. The BCM activates the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42 by grounding CKT 690. Battery voltage is then supplied from the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42, through CKT 740 to both of the inside rearview mirror lamps. When the BCM experiences a courtesy lamp request, it activates the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 in the instrument panel electrical center by applying a ground to CKT 690. This causes battery voltage to be applied to CKT 740 and to the inside rearview mirror lamps. The inside rearview mirror lamps will then illuminate. The inside rearview mirror lamps are grounded by CKT 150 through Splice Pack #202 to G202.
The rear compartment courtesy lamps are used within the courtesy lamp feature. The BCM activates the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42 by grounding CKT 690. Battery voltage is then supplied from the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42, through CKT 740 to both of the rear compartment courtesy lamps. When the BCM experiences a courtesy lamp request, it activates the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 in the instrument panel electrical center by applying a ground to CKT 690. Constant battery voltage is applied to the cigar lighter from the C/LTR Mini Fuse® #7 through CKT 840. When the cigar lighter is pushed in, the path to ground is completed by CKT 150 through Splice Pack #202 to G202. This will then activate the heating coil and start the cigar lighter operation.
Constant battery voltage is applied from CNSL CIG Mini Fuse® #1 through CKT 1540 to the electronic accessory plug. The electronic accessory plug is grounded by CKT 150 through Splice Pack #201 to G201.
