Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 64644 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Raise the headlamp manually.

    3. Turn the headlamp motor/actuator manual control knob counterclockwise.

  3. Disconnect the headlamp wiring harness electrical connector from the forward lamp wiring harness.

    4. Object Number: 64684 Size: SH
  4. Remove the headlamp bezel. Refer to Headlamp Bezel Replacement .
  5. Place your arm through the opening between the headlamp assembly and the frame rail to access the headlamp bulb.
  6. Twist and remove the appropriate bulb from the headlamp capsule.
  7. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 64684 Size: SH
  1. Install the headlamp bulb to the headlamp capsule.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to bulb.
  3. Install the headlamp bezel. Refer to Headlamp Bezel Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 64644 Size: SH
  4. Lower the headlamp manually.

    5. Turn the headlamp motor/actuator manual control knob clockwise.

  5. Connect the headlamp wiring harness electrical connector to the forward lamp wiring harness.
  6. Close the hood.
  7. Check the headlamp aim.
    8. • To check the aim of the headlamps using the screen method, refer to Headlamp Aiming .
    • To check the aim of the headlamps using the mechanical method, refer to Headlamp Aiming .
