Sidemarker Lamp Replacement Assembly

1. Remove the nearest outer taillamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
2. Remove the sidemarker lamp socket from the sidemarker lamp assembly.

Access the sidemarker lamp through the taillamp opening.

3. Remove the sidemarker lamp retaining nuts.
4. Remove the sidemarker lamp.

1. Position the sidemarker lamp to the fender.
2. Install the sidemarker lamp retaining nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the rear sidemarker lamp retaining nuts to 2.3 N·m (20 lb in).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

3. Install the socket to the sidemarker lamp assembly.
4. Install the taillamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .

Sidemarker Lamp Replacement Bulb

1. Remove the nearest outer taillamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .

Access the sidemarker lamp through the taillamp opening.

2. Remove the sidemarker lamp socket from the sidemarker lamp assembly.
3. Remove the bulb from the socket.

1. Install the bulb to the sidemarker lamp socket.
2. Install the socket to the sidemarker lamp assembly.
3. Install the taillamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
