  1. Disconnect the DRL ambient light sensor connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper (3 A) between terminals A and B of the DRL ambient light sensor connector.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Do the park/marker lamps and turn signal lamps illuminate?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Leave the fused jumper (3 A) in place between terminals A and B of the DRL ambient light sensor connector.
  3. Disconnect the DRL control module connector C2.
  4. Connect a DMM between the DRL control module connector C2 terminal G and terminal H.
  5. Measure for continuity between terminal G and terminal H of the DRL control module connector C2.

Is continuity present between terminal G and terminal H?

Replace the DRL ambient light sensor.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the fused jumper (3 A) from the DRL ambient light sensor connector.
  2. Connect the DMM between the DRL control module connector C2 terminal G and ground.
  3. Measure for continuity between terminal G and ground.

Is continuity present between terminal G and ground?

Repair a short to ground in CKT 1137.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect the DMM between the DRL control module connector C2 terminal H and ground.
  2. Measure for continuity between terminal H and ground.

Is continuity present between terminal H and ground?

  1. Disconnect the fused jumper (3 A) from the DRL ambient light sensor connector.
  2. Connect a DMM between the DRL ambient light sensor connector terminal A and the DRL control module connector C2 terminal H.
  3. Measure for continuity between the DRL ambient light sensor connector terminal A and the DRL control module connector C2 terminal H.

Is continuity present between the DRL ambient light sensor connector terminal A and the DRL control module connector C2 terminal H?

  1. Connect the DMM between the DRL ambient light sensor connector terminal B and the DRL control module connector C2 terminal G.
  2. Measure for continuity between the DRL ambient light sensor connector terminal B and the DRL control module connector C2 terminal G.
