Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 206261 Size: SH
  1. Remove the wiper motor module from the vehicle. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the wiper transmission linkage from the crank arm.

    3. Object Number: 206241 Size: SH
  3. Remove the torx screw from the crank arm and wiper motor.
  4. Remove the crank arm from the wiper motor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 206255 Size: SH
  1. Install the crank arm onto the wiper motor.
  2. Position the park latch 4-5mm from the park tab.

    3. Object Number: 206241 Size: SH
  3. Install the torx screw into the crank arm and the wiper motor.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Tighten
    Tighten the crank arm mounting screw to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  4. Connect the wiper transmission onto the crank arm.
  5. Install the wiper motor module into the vehicle. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement .
