Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 65104 Size: SH
  1. Remove the sill plate. Refer to Sill Plate in Exterior/Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Panel Replacement in Exterior/Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the electrical/audio connector (3) from the antenna module (6).
  4. Disconnect the following three coaxial cables from the antenna module (6).
    5. • Rear lift window antenna (1)
    • Radio control (4)
    • Front windshield antenna (5)
  5. Remove the screws retaining the antenna module (6) to the lock pillar.
  6. Remove the antenna module (6).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 65104 Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna module (6) into position on the lock pillar.

    2. Align the module locator tab to the lock pillar locating hole (2).

  2. Install the antenna module (6) retaining bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna module retaining screws to 1.8 N·m (16 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Connect the following three coaxial cables to the antenna module (6).
    4. • Rear lift window antenna (1)
    • Radio control (4)
    • Front windshield antenna (5)
  4. Connect the electrical/audio connector (3) to the antenna module (6).
  5. Install the lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Panel Replacement in Exterior/Interior Trim.
  6. Install the sill plate. Refer to Sill Plate in Exterior/Interior Trim.
