Power to the Horn Relay is constantly supplied through the battery. Ground is supplied to the relay through the two switches located in the steering wheel assembly. Both of the switches are normally open. When any of the switches are closed, the relay energizes and activates both of the Horns by supplying the battery power. A constant ground is supplied to the Horns through splice pack #100.

The Body Control Module (BCM) will energize the Horn Relay with a pulsing ON/OFF signal when an illegal entry to the vehicle is detected by various inputs to the BCM.
