Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 71989 Size: SH
  1. Remove the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 71182 Size: SH
  2. Remove the inside rearview mirror. Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 71190 Size: SH
  3. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Exterior/Interior Trim.

    4. Object Number: 71987 Size: SH
  4. Grasp the upper garnish molding and pull the garnish molding with its retainers from the windshield frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 71190 Size: SH
  1. Position the sunshade electrical connectors through the openings in the upper garnish molding.

    2. Object Number: 71987 Size: SH
  2. Position the upper garnish molding with its retainers to the holes in the windshield frame.
  3. Push on the upper garnish molding snapping the molding retainers into the windshield frame.

    4. Object Number: 63742 Size: SH
  4. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Exterior/Interior Trim.

    5. Object Number: 71182 Size: SH
  5. Install the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 71989 Size: SH
  6. Install the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .
