Exhaust Manifold Removal Left Side


    Object Number: 59582 Size: SH

    Important: Do not remove the check valve from the Air Injection Reaction (AIR) pipe unless service is required.

    Do not remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold unless service is required.

  1. Remove the AIR pipe (with check valve), bolts and gasket from the left exhaust manifold.
  2. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.

    3. Do not remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils unless required.

  3. Remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold (if required).

    4. Object Number: 64134 Size: SH
  4. Remove the exhaust manifold, bolts, and gasket.
  5. Discard the gasket.

Exhaust Manifold Removal Right Side


    Object Number: 63229 Size: SH

    Important: Do not remove the check valve from the AIR pipe unless service is required.

    Do not remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold unless service is required.

  1. Remove the Air Injection Reaction (AIR) pipe bracket bolt from the rear of the left cylinder head.

    2. Object Number: 59633 Size: SH
  2. Remove the AIR pipe (with check valve), bolts and gasket from the right exhaust manifold.

    3. Object Number: 100175 Size: SH
  3. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.

    4. Do not remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils unless required.

  4. Remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold.
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold, bolts, and gasket.
  6. Discard the gasket.
