Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 297244 Size: SH
  1. Remove the service port valve caps.
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  3. Using an R-134a valve core remover/installer, unscrew and remove the valve core from the service port.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 297244 Size: SH
  1. Using an R-134a valve core remover/installer, install the new valve core to the service port.
  2. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  3. Check the service ports for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing .
  4. Install the service port valve caps.
