DEFINITION: The wipers do not park when the Wiper/Washer Switch is turned OFF.

Go to Step 2

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the wiper switch to the OFF position.
3. Disconnect connector C219.

Do the wipers park?

--

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the wiper/washer switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

--

1. Disconnect the wiper motor connector.
2. Connector C219 still disconnected.
3. Connect a DMM between connector C219 terminal B and ground.
4. Measure the voltage at terminal B of C219.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

1 V or above

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair a short to battery power in CKT 91.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

--

1. Wiper motor connector still disconnected.
2. Connector C219 still disconnected.
3. Connect a DMM between connector C219 terminal A and ground.
4. Measure the voltage at terminal A of C219.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

1 V or above

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Repair a short to battery power in CKT 95.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

Replace the wiper motor cover.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check
