- Install the scan tool.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Select display DTC function with the scan tool.
- Check for any stored BCM or theft deterrent DTCs related to horn
operation.

are stored in memory or current status.

DTC table). |
| • | Scan Tool Does Not Communicate w/Class 2 Data Line. |

- Turn ignition to the OFF position.
- Remove the scan tool from the diagnostic link connector.
- Depress the horn switch to the ON position.
| Horn sounds
with switch depressed.

| Release
the horn switch to the OFF position.
| Horn does not sound when switch is released.
