The seatback cover can be removed without removing the seat. However, the seat is much easier to service when removed from the vehicle.
Important: Do Not attempt to pry the release lever bezel or the release lever out of the seatback frame.

Important: There are two size fir tree fasteners used. if the head of the fastener is 19 mm (0.75 in) it is possible to remove the trim by slightly raising the fir tree fasteners and then sliding the seatback cover tab over the head of the fastener. If the head of the fir tree fastener is 25 mm (1 in) it is necessary to cut or chisel off the head of the fastener.
Important: Do not attempt to pry the release cable lever out of the seatback.
• | Slide each of the seatback cover tabs over the 19 mm (0.75 in) head of a lower fir tree fastener and push the fastener in to secure. |
• | Install new fir tree fasteners through the seatback cover and the lumbar bladder assembly into the seatback frame. |
