Parking Brake Shoe Inspection for Chevrolet Corvette 2001

1. With the rear disc brake rotor removed, inspect the park brake shoe for the following conditions:

•	Excessive park brake lining wear

•	Cracking of the park brake lining

•	Contamination of the park brake lining with grease or oil

•	Bent or distorted park brake shoe

•	Park brake lining separated from park brake shoe

2. If any of the conditions listed above are evident, the park brake shoe requires replacement.
