  1. Remove the knock sensor wire harness.

    2. Object Number: 309864 Size: SH
  2. Remove the knock sensors.

    3. Object Number: 65048 Size: SH
  3. Remove the valley cover bolts.
  4. Remove the valley cover and gasket - LS1.

    5. Object Number: 668798 Size: SH
  5. Remove the valley cover and gasket - LS6.
  6. Discard the valley cover gasket.

    7. Object Number: 490851 Size: SH
  7. Remove the knock sensor oil seals (1) from the cover (2).
