Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 561130 Size: SH
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Lower the right muffler for automatic transmission equipped vehicles only. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Right Side in Engine Exhaust.
  3. Disconnect the EVAP canister valve harness connector.
  4. Disconnect the vent hose (2) from the EVAP canister vent valve (1).

    5. Object Number: 329567 Size: SH
  5. Remove the EVAP canister vent valve (2) from the vent bracket (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 329567 Size: SH
  1. Install the EVAP canister vent valve (2) to the vent bracket (1).

    2. Object Number: 561130 Size: SH
  2. Connect the vent hose (2) to the EVAP canister vent valve (1).
  3. Connect the EVAP vent valve electrical connector.
  4. For automatic transmission- equipped vehicles only, raise the right muffler. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Right Side in Engine Exhaust.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
