Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 99268 Size: SH
  1. Disable the park brake automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the RH muffler. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Right Side .
  4. Disconnect the rear park brake cable at the retainer and equalizer.

    5. Object Number: 63999 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear park brake cable from the rear suspension mounting bracket.
  6. Remove the rear park brake cable retainer nut.
  7. Remove the rear park brake cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the rear parking brake cable to the vehicle.
  2. Install the rear parking brake cable retainer nut.

    3. Object Number: 64001 Size: SH
  3. Connect the rear park brake cable to the rear suspension mounting bracket.

    4. Object Number: 99268 Size: SH
  4. Connect the rear park brake cable to the retainer and equalizer.
  5. Install the RH muffler. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Right Side .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Enable park brake automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling .
