Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 64664  Size: SH
  1. Remove the nearest outer tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
  2. Remove the two nuts attaching the radio antenna bracket and position the antenna for access to the side marker lamp if equipped with a power antenna.
  3. Remove the sidemarker lamp socket from the sidemarker lamp.
  4. Access the sidemarker lamp through the tail lamp opening.

  5. Remove the sidemarker lamp retaining nuts.
  6. Remove the sidemarker lamp.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 64664  Size: SH
  1. Position the sidemarker lamp to the fender.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the sidemarker lamp retaining nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear sidemarker lamp retaining nuts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the socket to the sidemarker lamp assembly.
  6. Install the nuts attaching the radio antenna, if removed.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna bracket retaining nuts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  8. Install the tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
