Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 171878  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front fascia lower close out panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement in Bumpers.
  3. Release the brake caliper cooling duct from the front fascia and position the duct aside.

  4. Object Number: 64629  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the front fog lamp electrical connector from the fog lamp bulb/socket.

  6. Object Number: 64632  Size: SH
  7. Remove the front fog lamp mounting bolt from the front bumper impact bar.
  8. Remove the fog lamp from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 64632  Size: SH
  1. Position the front fog lamp to the front bumper impact bar.
  2. Insert the fog lamp bracket alignment tab into the hole on the front bumper impact bar.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front fog lamp mounting bolt to the front bumper impact bar.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front fog lamp mounting bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Connect the front fog lamp electrical connector to the fog lamp bulb/socket.

  6. Object Number: 171878  Size: SH
  7. Position the brake caliper cooling duct to the front fascia, and press to secure.
  8. Install the front fascia lower close out panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement in Bumpers.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Check and adjust fog lamp aim as necessary. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .
