Did you perform the IPC Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Move the head-up display dimmer switch to the full bright position.
  3. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.

Do all segments of the head-up display illuminate for 3.5 seconds?

Does the HUD display 2 dashes?

Test the head-up display clock circuit for a short to ground, or an open at the IPC. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the head-up display ground circuit for a short to B+, or an open at the IPC. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
