Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 63724  Size: SH
  1. Remove the fascia close out panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the fog lamp, if equipped.
  3. Remove the fascia lamp deflector bolts.
  4. Remove the fascia lamp deflector.

Installation Procedure

Important: 

   • If the vehicle has the fog lamp option ensure that the fog lamp opening filler has been removed from the fascia deflector.
   • If the vehicle does not have the fog lamp option ensure that the fog lamp opening filler has been installed to the fascia deflector.

  1. Position the fascia lamp deflector to the fascia.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fascia lamp deflector to fascia bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fascia lamp deflector bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the fog lamp, if removed. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  6. Install the front fascia close out panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement .
