Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 64620  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear license frame.
  2. Release the locking tabs with a flat-bladed screwdriver.

  3. Remove the rear license plate.
  4. Remove the backup lamp assembly retaining screws.
  5. Partially remove the backup lamp assembly to expose the backup lamp sockets.
  6. Remove the backup lamp sockets from the backup lamp assembly.
  7. Rotate the sockets counterclockwise to release the locking tabs.

  8. Remove the backup lamp assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 64620  Size: SH
  1. Install the backup lamp sockets to the backup lamp assembly.
  2. Rotate the sockets clockwise to engage the locking tabs.

  3. Install the backup lamp assembly into position on the vehicle.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the backup lamp assembly retaining screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the backup lamp and rear license assembly retaining screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the rear license plate.
  8. Install the rear license frame.
  9. Align the locking tabs, then press engage.
