Service VME - Windshield Request - appearance door glass weatherstrip window

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

In reviewing the 2003 Corvette warranty, it has been noted that there is a significant increase in the number of windshields and rear hatch glasses that have been replaced. If you receive a comment from a customer that leads you to replace either the windshield or the rear hatch glass, I am asking that you please call me, Dave Peacy at 586-575-3539, to let me know the reason for the replacement. This message is intended to help identify the issues that are leading to the replacement of the glass so that those issues can be corrected; it is not an attempt to administer warranty.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
