When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

A customer concern of all warning indicators illuminated, IPC erratic at various times may be the result of a circuit being chaffed/rubbed under the drivers seat.

DTCs that have been found to be present when this condition occurs:

BCM - U1016, U1051, U1096 AND U1255. HVAC - U1016, U1096, U1160 AND U1255. IPC - U1016, U1040, U1064 AND U1176. LDM - U1016, U1064, U1096 AND U1255. RADIO - U1016, U1064 AND U1096. RFA - U1006, U1016, U1064, U1096 AND U1255. PDM - U1016, U1064, U1096 AND U1255. SCM - U1016, U1064, U1255 AND U1300. SIR - U1016, U1040, U1064, U1096 AND U1300. ABS - U1000, U1016 AND U1300. PCM - P1626. SIR - U1300 AND IPC U1255.

Advise the technician to inspect for chaffed/rubbed wiring under the drivers seat, circuit 1048 (BRN/WHT CLASS 2 data wire) on the top side of the bracket for the vertical seat motors going to the Seat Control Module

Circuit 1048 has been found to be chaffed under the drivers seat. Repair the chaffed circuit 1048 under the seat on the top side of the bracket for the vertical seat motors going to the Seat Control Module as required.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
