Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1465271 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) for the mass air flow (MAF)/air intake temperature (IAT) sensor (5).
  2. Remove the lines (2) from the air duct (4).
  3. Loosen the air intake duct clamps (3).
  4. Remove the air intake duct (4) from the throttle body.
  5. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor (5) from the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1465271 Size: SH

    Important:  Ensure that the arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor is pointing to the front , radiator , indicate the proper air flow direction. The arrow must point toward the engine.

  1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor (5) in the air cleaner housing (6).
  2. Install the air intake duct (4).
  3. Position the clamps (3) on the air intake duct (4).

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the clamps (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten clamps to 4  N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Reconnect the MAF/IAT electrical connector (1).
