Manual operation of the power convertible top cannot be attempted for 5 minutes from the last time the convertible top button was pressed. This will allow the hydraulic pressure to bleed off.

Number One Bow Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the folding top cover. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
2. Remove headliner. Refer to Folding Top Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the number one bow weatherstrip. Refer to Folding Top Weatherstrip, Retainer Replacement .
4. Position the folding top with the number one bow and the number five bow up, to access fasteners and minimize tension on pins and linkage.
