Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the right side rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Position the folding top with the number  #1 bow and the number #5 bow up, to access the fasteners and minimize tension on the pins and linkage.

Procedure

1. Do Not prying against the folding top rail, this could result in damage to parts.
2. Open/Closed limit switch is located in the rear compartment on the lower right side of the folding top linkage arm.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten
8 N·m (70 lb in)

Number Five Bow Lower/Raise Limit Switch Replacement

Procedure

1. Number Five Bow Lower/Raise limit switch is located in the rear compartment on the lower right side of the folding top linkage arm.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten
4 N·m (35 lb in)

Procedure

Install the new switch pivot arm to the pivot that located on the folding top arm.
