Diagnostic Aids

If the 30 A WIPER fuse located in the underhood fuse block is open, a short to ground in any one of the following circuits may be the cause:

    • Windshield wiper motor high speed circuit
    • Windshield wiper motor low speed circuit
    • Windshield wiper motor park switch voltage supply circuit
    • Windshield wiper motor park switch signal circuit
    • Accessory voltage -- WIPER RUN/ACC relay switched voltage circuit

If the 10 A WPR/WASHER fuse located in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block is open , a short to ground in any one of the following circuits may be the cause:

    • Accessory voltage circuit to the wiper switch
    • Windshield washer switch signal circuit
    • Windshield wiper switch low signal circuit
    • Windshield wiper switch high signal circuit
    • Windshield washer relay control circuit
    • Headlamp washer relay control circuit
