Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Convertible

Removal Procedure

  1. Position the foldable top in the down position.
  2. Position the tonneau cover in the up position.

  3. Object Number: 1517924  Size: SH
  4. Grasp the speaker cover and firmly pull outward removing the speaker grill from the trim panel.

  5. Object Number: 1504009  Size: SH
  6. Remove the screws (1) securing the speaker to the trim panel.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.
  8. Remove the speaker (2) from the car.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1504009  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
  2. Position the speaker (2) in the opening in the trim panel.
  3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the screws (1) securing the speaker to the trim panel.
  5. Tighten the screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in)

  7. Position the tabs on the speaker grill to the slots in the trim panel.
  8. Push the speaker grill inward until fully seated against the trim panel.
  9. Return the tonneau cover and folding top to their original positions.

Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  2. Object Number: 1504008  Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws securing the speaker.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.
  5. Remove the speaker from the car.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1504008  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
  2. Position the speaker in the opening.
  3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the screws securing the speaker.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
