Technicians may find a stored Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B3666 in the Folding Top Control (FTC) module while working on the vehicle for other concerns. If the folding top is operating properly, the code may have been set during the vehicle assembly process. Under normal operation of the power top system, FTC module code B3666 may set when the ajar switch on the tonneau latch is touched inadvertently during assembly. This often happens on the assembly line during normal plant processing and it has no affect on the top operation. If there is a customer concern of a folding top that has failed to operate, then follow the normal diagnostic procedures for DTC B3666.
