Express Up Window Feature Inoperative with Convertible Roof - keywords door glass inoperative switch up

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When the convertible top is raised and latched in the closed position, the owners manual leads one to believe the roof button can be pressed a second time within 5 seconds and the door windows will express up. This is not a feature on this vehicle. This is due to a misprint in the owner's manual.

After the roof is raised completely and latched, the windows will need to be raised by using the window switches only. This is a normal operating characteristic and no repair attempts should be made.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
