The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Customers may complain of water intrusion on the passenger floor. Or when diagnosing a vehicle for an unrelated concern, water may be noticed in the electrical center area near the passenger floor. This may be the result of an engine wire harness plugging the HVAC drain and preventing it from effectively draining the water or condensation from the HVAC case.

Inspect the HVAC drain for blockage. More specific, check the position of the engine harness especially the harness for the O2 sensor wires and move it away from HVAC drain.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
