Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the rear portion of the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
3. Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the level sensor indicator.
5. Using two flat-bladed tools, gently pry the level sensor indicator from the washer container.
6. Discard the grommet.

Windshield Washer Level Sensor Indicator

Tip
Replace and lubricate the new grommet with pure windshield washer solvent fluid prior to installing the new level indicator into the container.
