Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the fuel filler door. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement .
2. Remove the left rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .

Fuel Filler Pocket Screws (Qty: 6)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Fuel Filler Pocket

Tip
The pocket will be removed by pulling the filler neck back and slipping the pocket out from between the neck and the body panel. A ground strap riveted to the pocket filler and bolted to the frame will need to be released before attempting the removal.
